RaceSimTracker.com announced back in November that it would use a ratio system to improve the overall seeding on torrents and to avoid hit and runs.

The new ratio minimum ratio announced was 0.8, today RaceSimTracker.com will soften this minimum ratio from 0.8 to 0.5;

Users with less than a ratio of 0.5 and which downloaded more than 1GB receive a warning from the system to get their ratio above 0.5 in 30 days, if not the account will be blocked by the system.

RaceSimTracker.com has just removed all current warnings and unblocked all accounts so everybody can make a fresh start. It is possible that you may receive a new warning from the system soon if your account is below 0.5;

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to MANY people doing hit and runs (Downloading and not seeding). I have concluded that racesimtracker cannot rely anymore on a few reliable seeders and people that do care about fair ratios and sharing, if RaceSimTracker goes on like this, it will die due to no seeders who keep the content alive. Therefore from 1 January 2009 all accounts with a ratio less than 0.8 will be banned and deleted. From 1 January 2009 you will have 14 days to get your ratio back over 0.8 at all times; This rule will apply to everyone who have downloaded more than 1GB. If your ratio is below 0.8 you will have to start seeding (uploading) if you want to keep your account. Also note that we will check on multiple cheat accounts for them who do and do not take this message seriously. RaceSimTracker.com must make a new start and grow again, but this time with fair sharing!

Welcome on RaceSimTracker.com 2.0

We have upgraded RaceSimTracker.com on 10 November 2008 to TorrentTrader 2.0; All dead and old torrents posted before 11 November 2008 have been deleted, old torrents because of compatability reasons. Over time we will expand RaceSimTracker.com with more features. Please help us purchase a TorrentTrader premium license by sending a small donation. We will need 15 euro for the license and this will give us access to more feature rich add-ons for RaceSimTracker.com, eventually if dreams come true a dedicated light weight torrent box can be put up for automatic dedicated seeding of posted torrents.
